| Dear Rob
In this season of Thanksgiving and
after an amazing weekend of festivities, we are so thankful for the
Emmanuel community and all the ways in which people here give from their
hearts with such generosity and joy. Blessings, Fr. Rob & Mo. Lyn

A Carnival of Fragrance and Delight!

A big THANK YOU! to all who contributed to this past weekend's festivities!
We had a wonderful
Halloween party on Friday which included food, fun, and fellowship to
the max! Jen Wagner coordinated this great event with the help of many
of you who brought chili and fixins, took part in the set up and take
down, served the food, hosted games and activities, decorated and
celebrated!
On
Sunday we had a tremendous worship service and BBQ, which included the
drama of the Covenant Players, atrium presentation by Ginger Cash, songs
by the preschoolers, and balloon redecoration by the kids! Afterwards
George Hayward and the Galley Girls put on a mouthwatering feast with a
little help from their friends.

Newcomber Luncheon
this Sunday!
Mine
is the church where everybody's welcome! So come all you six foot
gladiolas! (And everyone else who has walked in the door of Emmanuel but
hasn't been to a newcomer luncheon!) This is a wonderful opportunity to
get free food (who said there is no such thing as a free lunch) and
find out more about the inner workings of our congregation! Vestry
members are also encouraged to come and join in on the fun as we meet
some of the newest members of the Emmanuel community. We will be meeting
in the SHACK room at noon!
