| Dear , |
together the year's reflections for Celebration Sunday and the Annual
Meeting last week really made us feel grateful for all of you. What an
awesome community this is! Here's a big THANK YOU for all the ways you
make Emmanuel so Emmanuel. :)

What Color is Your Parachute
THIS COMING MONDAY at 7pm the
Parachute Group will begin a five week series on the book "What Color
is Your Parachute?". Although the book is primarily for people
reinventing their lives in the job market, it is significantly about
rediscovering who you are and what is your life purpose. One reader
commented "I just bought my first copy of "What Color is Your Parachute?
This book brought me back to life, caused me to rethink everything
about myself and revived my passion for me to be my best self." Not bad
for a brief read! Come join the Parachute Group for this important
series on discovering who you are meant to be and do.
Support for Pre-teens, Teenagers, and the Parents Who Love Them!
ON SUNDAY FEBRUARY 9 Fr.
Rob and Mo. Lyn will be hosting a luncheon in the SHACK room from
noon until 1pm for young people 10 to 18 and their parents. We'd like to
strengthen the ministry that Emmanuel does in this area, so we want to
hear your ideas about how we could provide an awesome environment for
our young people. The areas we would like to explore would be fun &
friendship, spiritual growth, and making a difference in the world. We
need your thoughts and prayers! Come join the revolution. :)

Thanks to a contribution made by Mike
Oates, this creche became a cherished possession finding a home by the
altar of our sister church of Epiphany in East Los Angeles. It added to a
wonderful celebration of Epiphany at Epiphany!
