| Dear , |
be long now! This coming Sunday is the Fourth Sunday in Advent and then
the Christmas festivities will follow. In the midst of our busy
schedules may the Christ child find room in the inn!
With love in Christ,
Fr. Rob & Mo. Lyn+
(The last opportunity)
December 21 at 4pm - Greening of the Church
long-time Anglican tradition is an event called the greening of the
church. This is the time when we garland the church, set up the
Christmas tree, and display the nativity. This is all done to the sound
of Christmas carols and lots of laughter. Come join the fun and be
amazed at how beautiful our sanctuary looks when we are done! Afterwards
we adjourn to Havermale Hall for a pot luck soup supper. Yum!!!
We will have two services on Christmas Eve (Wednesday night). The Christmas Eve Family Service,
which is especially designed to include children, will have an
impromptu Christmas pageant and communion in the church, followed by a
birthday party for Jesus with balloons, gifts, and cake in the parish
hall. Delightful, spontaneous, and fun. This service will be at 5 pm
The second service will be the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service with choir and communion. Beautiful, uplifting, and divine. This service will be at 10 pm.
On Christmas Day (Thursday) we will have a service with music and communion. Intimate and heartwarming. This service will be at 10am.
Come join us to celebrate the entrance of Jesus into the world and into our hearts!

Photo of the Week
This is a drawing made by Mary McCarthy as she captured the essence of
last Sunday's sermon. How appropriate to have the theme of expecting
shown forth by a Mary!
