 Dear   ,

This month we have five Sundays. This Sunday is the fifth one, and you know what that means...one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one service...at 9:00 am followed by a BBQ. Don't miss it. There will be a special presentation of a check for $5000 raised at the Garden Party, to Sharon Ellis CEO of Habitat for Humanity, the organization that is doing home repairs for our wounded veterans. Don't miss this very special event.

With much love,

Mo. Lyn+

It's That Time Agai

This Sunday we celebrate the fifth Sunday of the month in true Emmanuel fashion. There will be a single service at 9:00 am followed by a BBQ. Our beloved BBQ chef Ernie Moran, will be taking care of the meat. Just bring a side dish to share and we will have a feast indeed.

Our special guest Sunday will be Sharon Ellis, the CEO of Habitat for Humanity. We will be presenting her with a check for the $5000 we raised at our Garden Party in June. These funds will go towards the program that Habitat is spearheading which does repairs on the homes of our handicapped veterans. We are so proud to be a part of this fine effort.

So come out and support Habitat for Humanity and be a part of sharing our gift with Sharon. She will be staying for the BBQ so that we all will have the opportunity to meet and speak with her.

Just to refresh your memory, here are pictures of the fun we have had at the BBQ in the past!!!

Recipe for Fun!

Take one evening, Friday, August 28th at

6:30 pm, at Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Add the 1940 hit Philadelphia Story, starring the legendary Katherine Hepburn, Cary Grant, and Oscar-winner James Stewart. Savor the witty, irreverent romantic comedy with its refined, intelligent dialogue and sharp performances. Season with stellar company, free admission and good snacks, and enjoy!
