The New Year is almost upon us. We wanted to take this time to thank all of you for your support and care during 2015. How the Holy Spirit has moved in such redeeming and uplifting ways--from new vineyard, Garden Party, ministry to the homeless, births and farewells, worship and weddings--it was a year to remember and a time to treasure all that was good and Godly.

With love in Christ,
Fr. Rob+ and Mo. Lyn+

Christmas Thanksgivings

Christmas Services
Thank you to all of you who prepared, ministered, and participated in the Emmanuel Christmas services. What a glorious time it was!

Annie shared a powerful song at the Christmas Day Service of the birth and life of Jesus from the viewpoint of Mary.  Several people wanted to see the lyrics so here they are!

News Flash

  • Bill Donoghue has been moved to A&A Home Care in Anaheim (3166 W. Teranimar Dr.) I just spoke with him and he wouldn't mind some visitors, but probably best to call the home first to make sure he isn't overwhelmed. The number there is 866-845-8515

  • [Since it is still the season of Christmas] "Talking" Christmas Tree! Look for the "Talking Tree" in Havermale that Deborah has developed as part of her Masters program. The question is "Christmas. What is important to you?" Take a leaf and write your response on it and then attach it to the tree. Soon our tree will be filled with Emmanuel celebrations!

  • Our own Joe Cirrito, an LAPD officer, is leading a homeless ministry named Project Hope. Go to this website to read more about this ministry and help support him!

PS. For those who heard Joe speak at the 8:15 service last week, the young boy in the photo is the one who gathered 500 sweaters for the homeless.
