Our goal for this Fall is to let the world know that we are here and what we are up to. I think you'll find we are doing a lot better job of that thanks to our newly formed Visibility Group. Keep your eyes open for "signs" of their efforts!!!

Much love,
Mo. Lyn+

Visibility is Our Goal!

Here are our new banners announcing upcoming events at Emmanuel and inviting our neighbors to attend. We are coming out of our shell and letting those in the world know that we are here and that this is a place that welcomes them. We are so grateful to the members of the Visibility Group who are making all of this possible!

Save the Date!

Green Day is Coming

Oct 8th from 9 am to 12 noon

There will be a Green Day here at Emmanuel on October 8th from

9 am - 12 noon.

What's a  Green Day you ask? Well it's a day when we have:

  • A Community Yard Sale - to encourage reuse and reduce our landills

  • Secure shredding available for all of your personal papers - to encourage recycling

  • A plant sale in the garden - to encourage greening of the earth

Flyers will be available at coffee hour. Take some and invite your friends.

NEW COURSE! -  Emmanuel Unplugged: Unamplified Sound Bites about the Difference that Makes a Difference

Photo of the Week

Jacob and Joe celebrated their 17th birthday Sunday with a hilarious skit about whose birthday it really was. This is one clever (and good looking) set of twins. Many of us remember their arrival at Emmanuel in a stroller with oxygen attached. They have grown to be such healthy, happy and talented young men. What a blessing!
