Pastoral Care

Meg Suich (pictured below on the left) is the leader for Pastoral Care. This ministry focuses on support and nurturing of the parish, and offers a number of services to the Emmanuel community. Among them are Lay Eucharistic Visitors who take communion to shut-ins and those in hospitals or nursing homes, as well as care calls and cards to members who need some words of friendship, encouragement and loving remembrance during times of trouble.

One of the new programs in the works for pastoral care is "Support Our Seniors" or "SOS". This program is to offer visitation and contact for our senior members who need our recognition and support. More details will be available as the program comes together.
