The Labyrinth

Kid's on labyrinth

This is a picture Jen Wagner took as some of her kids walked the labyrinth. Jen relates, "We spoke of how when one walks it, they can pray to God sharing what we are thankful for.  Then the children all spoke out loud of the thing they were thankful for:  brother Troy, monster trucks, mommy, daddy, my teachers, my friends and other things too... God blesses me every day with these beautiful children.  It brings a smile to my face and heart."

The labyrinth is available 24/7 for times of prayer and reflection for people of all ages. The labyrinth is particularly helpful for people who have a hard time sitting quietly in contemplative prayer. There is a pamphlet available at the labyrinth which presents some background and suggests ways to make use of this ancient practice. Try it, you might like it!

A big "Thank you!" to Robert and Beth Jahncke who care for this spiritual treasure and keep it beautiful and available for the community.

Kathy SkatingHere is our own Kathy Eppick skating in the Spirit. :)

Kathy is getting ready for some upcoming events. She will skate her Technical program at 4:39PM on Friday, 2/12, at Anaheim Ice at Lincoln and Harbor, and will skate her Artistic program at 2:41PM on Saturday, 2/13 at Westminster Ice near where the 405 and the 22 merge.

Kathy explains, "What's the difference in the programs.... nothing that anyone cares about other than judges.  It's best to get there a bit early to make sure you don't miss it.  Each program lasts about 2 minutes... blink and it's all over."

Congratulations, Kathy, for the courage to do what gives you joy, and the wonderful progress you have made in this challenging sport!

May your Epiphany adventures be enlightening!
