Coming Soon to the Garden Near You

Emmanuel Community Demonstration Garden

A Place to Grow

A Garden Work Weekend - March 18, 19 and 21 - starting each morning about 8:30. None of the work we have to do is particularly hard work, but we do have a lot to do. Consequently we need as many hands as possible. If you are coming (or even if you are not coming) and have tools, shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, etc. please bring them. Also, we need newspapers for the first layer of the beds. If you have questions please call Gordon and Lorra at 714-525-5578 or email

In addition we will be building the 28" raised beds on Saturday, March 26 starting at 9:00. Call Fred Collin to volunteer or ask questions about this phase of the garden development.

Blessings on you and your growing!

Mary's Prayer in Color

Mary McCarthy did a wonderful job of leading a SHACK room full of people into a Praying in Color experience last Sunday. Here is a sample of what she did! Come on out this Sunday afternoon at 5pm for more adventures in the land of Tools for Transformation. Mark Rosenau, a friend of Suzanne Kaisch will be sharing with us the art of Centering Prayer.
