5th Sunday Extravaganza

with Fr. Paul's 80th B-day and BBQ

Come join us for Fr. Paul's 80th birthday blowout. This Sunday we will have a single service at 9am where we will worship together, see a DVD of Fr. Paul's life, share communion and then enjoy the culinary arts of George Hayward and the Galley Girls. Anyone who would like to compete for Mac & Cheese Chef of the Year is encouraged to bring their special recipe. (Side dishes would be greatly appreciated!) This promises to be a wonderfully nourishing time on many levels! Y'all come!

Emmanuel Drum Circle Returns!

Take a look at this revealing collage that Deborah Cantwell made of a previous drum circle. It is a lively reminder of what awaits those who drop by tonight (April 26th) at 7pm for the monthly drum circle. Ken will review for us the basics of drumming and teach us a few new tricks. Great opportunity to meet people, experience the healing and uniting power of drumming, and to just plain have some fun. No experience or drum necessary ... we'll provide both!

Clean & Green Day

Clean out your file cabinets, drawers and closets and bring all the extra junk down to the Emmanuel Parking lot on May 12! We will have Good Will of Orange County securely shredding your old documents from 10 am until noon. We ask a freewill donation to help cover our cost. The paper will be recycled!

Or might want to have a space at our church wide rummage sale?!  We ask a $10 donation for this as it will help us cover advertising costs. Bring your own cash box. If you don't want to have your own space you can donate to the preschool space.  The rummage sale is from eight am to noon.  Call Nancy Shively to participate. 714-738-1541. Otherwise you can just "shop till you drop" among the treasures available!  One man's trash is another man's treasure!

From eleven o'clock to noon we will have some fun "green" activities in the children's garden!  So get in the green spirit and reduce, reuse and recycle!

Familiar Faces of Fullerton
Here is a snapshot of the fun a number of us had at the 10th Annual "Faces of Fullerton" event last Saturday. Here, Fr. Rob, Nancy, Jen, and Debi are helping to "man the booth" and answer questions. Nancy had a multi-generational craft of bracelets and necklaces and we met a great group of new and interested friends!
