Meet the King of Compost


Bill Roley



We are excited about compost!


Dr. Bill Roley, the King of Compost, is always excited about compost. I am excited that Bill is coming to talk with us about compost and I am excited that we are having our first Garden Workshop.



When:        Saturday, May 19, 2012

Where:       At our garden compost bins

Time:         10:00 am to 11:30 - we will start on time, 

                     so don't be late!

Bring:         Your favorite lawn chair, a brown bag lunch, 

                     and if you have one, a pitch fork,

Donation:    $10 or whatever you feel led to contribute

Who:          You and all your friends and neighbors


Bill will provide an overview of compost and focus specifically on how to make our composting efforts more efficient and faster. At 11:30 we will break for lunch and discussion about composting and our garden.

Bishop BrunoThe family of Bishop J. Jon Bruno has established a page on the "CaringBridge" website that will carry updates on the progress of his continuing treatment for acute monocytic leukemia at the City of Hope medical facility in Duarte. 

All are welcome to access the site for news and to leave messages for the bishop and his family. 
To log into the site, click here. The site will request that you register by entering an email address and password. You will then be able to view updates and leave messages of encouragement. 
Bishop Mary D. Glasspool reported to Diocesan Council on Thursday that Bishop Bruno has repeatedly expressed his gratitude for the many prayers and messages that have been offered by his friends from the diocese, the nation and the world. He asks that they continue to hold him up in prayer,

June 18-22, meal at 6pm and classes at 7pm. Adventures for all ages! We'll end the week with a campfire and marshmallows



June 24, at Ralph B. Clark Park after the 10am service. BBQ, games, music, prizes, fun!!!
