 Dear   ,
Happy All Hallows Eve Day! This is the day in which the church has traditionally laughed and made fun of the darkness on All Hallows Eve (Halloween) and celebrated the saints on All Hallows Day (All Saints - November 1). May the Light of Christ banish the spooks and illumine all that is saintly in your life!
With gratitude for you,
Fr. Rob & Mo. Lyn+

A Delicious Decision

Barbara Babcock

Responding to popular demand, Barbara Babcock has decided to share the wonderful casserole recipe that many of us enjoyed last Sunday. Here it is!

Harvest Potato Casserole

Preheat oven to 350º

1 pkg. frozen O'Brian Potatoes or hashbrowns (I prefer O'Brian hashbrowns)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
½ medium chopped onion
½ cup bacon bits (optional)
Combine the above in a large mixing bowl and set aside.

1 cup sour crème (I used fat free)
½ cup butter
4 eggs (optional)
1 10 ¾ oz. can cream of chicken soup.
1 ½ tsp. salt (optional) Cream together the sour cream and butter then mix in the eggs and soup. Pour into a 13 × 9 pan

2 cups crushed corn flakes
¼ cup melted butter
Spread corn flakes over top and drizzle with melted butter

Bake until hot and bubbly and corn flakes are crunchy.

  Men (and women) in black
I guess they got the memo. Either that or they are trying out for the next sequel of Men (and women) in Black. Actually, this is a collection of Emmanuelites from the 10am service who just happened to show up in similar attire this past Sunday. We can rest assured that the universe will be safe, knowing that all these folks in black are radiating such life-giving light!
